We keep coming back to Casa Linda because the combination of security, beauty, and community atmosphere is hard to beat in this part of the DR. This villa in particular is well-maintained and clearly cared for. The private pool was pristine on arrival, the bedrooms comfortable, the kitchen stocked with basics. We know the area well by now and this remains our favourite base. Short trip this time, felt much longer in the best way.
We needed a break in early December before the madness of the festive season and this villa gave us exactly that. Three adults, sunny days, an empty pool, and no agenda. Sosua town in December is quieter and friendlier for it. We did one day trip, one beach day, and three days of almost nothing. Came back refreshed in a way that a city break never quite manages. Will almost certainly repeat next December.
We came with two small children and Casa Linda is genuinely ideal for that: gated, quiet roads, no traffic to worry about. Alex had left pool floats and a few beach toys already in the garden ? small thing, but the kids were delighted from the first five minutes. The villa itself is set up well for a family: the kitchen is properly stocked, the bedrooms are comfortable, and the pool fence is there which gave us peace of mind. One of our best family holidays.
Three of us spent ten days here and enjoyed it thoroughly. The villa is spacious for three, well-maintained, and the private pool is a lovely extra given the communal pool in the estate. The oven runs noticeably hotter than marked ? we burned one dish before we figured it out. Not a big deal at all, just worth knowing if you plan to cook. Everything else was exactly right. Casa Linda as a community is genuinely beautiful.
Three couples, three bedrooms ? worked perfectly. The community itself is what I'd recommend as much as the villa: wide quiet roads, beautiful mature gardens, a communal pool, and a genuine sense of peace. We walked around the estate most evenings before dinner. The private pool is a nice bonus on top of all that. The villa is clean, well-furnished, and everything worked as it should. Sosua town is close enough for the odd outing but you don't feel the need to leave often.
