Viajamos en grupo de seis personas y encontramos en esta villa todo lo que buscabamos: habitaciones bien distribuidas, piscina limpia y espaciosa, cocina equipada y zona exterior muy agradable. Alex fue un anfitrion atento sin ser invasivo ? exactamente el equilibrio correcto. Nos recomendo un restaurante de mariscos cerca que result? ser el mejor de toda la semana. Marzo en Sosua es precioso: temperatura perfecta, playas tranquilas. Sin dudas volveriamos.
January in Sosua has a particular quality: the holiday rush is over, the prices are honest, and you get beaches and restaurants without the summer crowds. This villa was a perfect match for that experience: quiet, comfortable, well-maintained. We came as a couple wanting to properly reset after a difficult end-of-year period and by day three we'd genuinely relaxed. The pool, the outdoor space, the nearby coast ? all exactly right. Came back significantly better than we left.
We'd had a good week ? the villa is comfortable and in a nice part of Sosua ? but the thing that made the trip for us was Rocio cooking our last-evening dinner. We hadn't planned it until day four when our host mentioned the option. She arrived with a bag of fresh ingredients and two hours later put a table in front of us with a Dominican spread that felt like a proper goodbye from the island. We sat outside eating until it was almost midnight. Best possible final evening.
We had a genuinely enjoyable week here. The villa is comfortable and well-maintained, the outdoor areas are lovely, and the pool is consistently clean. One note: the shower in the smaller bedroom had noticeably weak pressure for the first two days. We mentioned it and it was addressed promptly ? apparently a valve issue that was fixed quickly. After that it was fine. Four stars rather than five purely because it took a couple of days, but the response was good and everything else was excellent.
We came with two couples and the villa was exactly the right size: enough space for four adults to have their own corners without feeling like they were living in a hotel corridor, and enough shared outdoor space to spend evenings together. The pool is the best feature ? generously sized, clean, gets full afternoon sun. Beach is a short drive. The whole week had a lovely rhythm: pool in the morning, beach in the afternoon, dinner in town. Hard to improve on that formula.
